Chestnut wood at competitive prices

Because we import chestnut wood directly from production forests, you buy from us directly from the source. This enables us to always offer very competitive prices. Moreover, we buy in very large volumes, which allows us to keep our purchase price of chestnut posts as low as possible.

Chestnut wood fast delivery times

Because of our large stocks, we are also able to deliver quickly. The largest stock of chestnut wood in the Netherlands is on our premises in Hierden! If exceptionally we do not have the desired dimensions in stock, we can still deliver quickly. Every week, we import several shipments from France and England, which guarantees fast delivery times.

Good-quality chestnut wood

Thanks to our many years of experience, we know exactly where and when to buy. Through strict selection of suppliers, we ensure that only good quality timber is purchased. In addition, we have our own peeling capacity in Hierden, so that poles can be peeled or milled if necessary.

Chestnut as a sustainable wood species

Chestnut wood has a very long lifespan. Due to the natural presence of tannic acids, this type of wood does not require chemical treatment to increase its durability. The wood species falls under durability class II. This means that the wood remains good for around 15-25 years.

The demand for this environmentally friendly product is ever-increasing. We import chestnut posts and chestnut fencing directly from France and England. The wood comes from so-called production forests where only sustainable forestry practices are followed. We therefore supply a large proportion of our posts and fencing with the sustainability hallmark.
